While
a Project Consultant with two global leaders in outplacement, Dan led
Career Transition seminars for professionals in various industries. One of Dan's most memorable projects was when he also collaborated with
18 trainers/consultants to deliver 10 career modules to more than
3,000 clients during a 30-month outplacement project. In early 2011,
Dan single-handedly conducted Career Transition seminars for 300 employees at a
manufacturing plant during its last few months of operation. Dan was also recognized as the
"facilitator of choice" to deliver Career Transition
seminars geared toward college students.

Dan
has been a guest speaker at Duke University – MBA School of the
Environment, North Carolina State University, University of North Carolina –
Wilmington, Wake Forest University, the North Carolina Association of
Colleges & Employers, various
Career Transition support groups and job expos in Raleigh. His
creative skills were put to great use while designing career
Development/Transition classes for Duke University's Short Courses
Program, Triangle United Way, Orlando Business College, and Orange
County Government in Orlando. Dan also worked in an adjunct capacity
for the Continuing Studies departments of Seminole Community College
and Valencia Community College.

Dan's
background includes full time work as a Career Coach at the
University of Central Florida (UCF). In this position, he was a
guest speaker at numerous student groups and organizations across
campus. His passion for educating and inspiring students was
recognized when he was selected as a Student Affairs Employee of the
Year nominee.
Dan also worked in a recruiting capacity
with the Hilton - Walt Disney Resort and SeaWorld Orlando. In these roles, he developed relationships with
department managers, colleges, contract agencies, employment programs
geared toward high school students, and the International Visitors
Council in Orlando.
Dan's Bachelor of Arts of Degree in
Communications, with an emphasis in Public Communication & Human
Relations, was completed at Western Illinois University. Dan is
certified in the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, a time-tested
personality assessment tool that helps people understand their
strengths and areas of development, so they can make the most of
their lives.
